• Cunningham Lindsey becomes Sedgwick

Loss adjusting and claims management firm Cunningham Lindsey is rebranding.

From this month, the business will operate as Sedgwick. The business was acquired by Sedgwick in April but had been operating under two brands.

Chief executive Darryl Cowan said the name change was a positive development.

“Our team in New Zealand is now part of the largest claims management organisation in the world and we will continue to deliver the same exceptional service to clients. In addition, we will have the support and enhanced capabilities of Sedgwick's unrivalled global knowledge and resources in areas such as technology, talent and expertise,” he said.

“These are exciting times for us, as we build on the strong reputations of both Sedgwick and Cunningham Lindsey. The integration of the two companies enables us to provide a more comprehensive range of global solutions for our clients - delivered locally by the same people you already know and trust.”

Sedgwick has 21,000 professionals across 65 countries, providing solutions to clients around the world.

Cowan said using the Sedgwick name across all markets would strengthen its brand identity and reinforce Sedgwick's position in the industry.

“We are proud to continue serving as your trusted partner in claims management, and look forward to sharing the benefits of our expanded and improved capabilities with you.”
